During the holiday season in New Jersey, one of my favorite things to do is visit a Christmas tree farm. There are a bunch of Christmas Tree Farms to visit, but my favorite is Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm in Manalapan, NJ. In addition to their 50 acres of Christmas trees, they have a huge Christmas shop to explore and an interactive Christmas village that you can walk through. It makes such a perfect weekend activity that will definitely put you in the holiday spirit! I will be sharing all the details below on my visit to Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm.
Anne Ellen Christmas Trees

Anne Ellen has some of the best fresh cut Christmas trees in the area! Their farm is home to over 50,000 Christmas trees! You can explore their farm and either choose + cut your own tree or you can select a tree from their pre-cut varieties. If you are looking to chop down your own Christmas tree, they have hand saws available for use or you can bring your own.
As you are exploring their fields of trees, make sure to check out their photo ops scattered around the farm!

Anne Ellen Christmas Shop

The difference between Anne Ellen and other tree farms is that it’s an entire holiday experience! They have a huge Christmas shop filled with thousands of unique holiday decor items. They have everything from beautiful wreaths to ornaments, candles, lights, statues and more!
If you are craving dessert, check out their donut shop! They have candy, cake, pies, and donuts!
Make sure to also check out their farm animals and take a photo with Santa!
The Village at Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm

One of the new things at their farm is the Village! The Village at Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm is an immersive experience where you wander through winding pathways of Christmas lights and interactive displays.
Your journey begins with a hayride through their field of trees that takes you into a Christmas wonderland! You will be dropped off at the start of the walking trail. There are over 100,000 Christmas lights. As you explore all the light displays, you will also get to see interactive exhibits like a gingerbread house, an igloo, a post office that delivers your letter to Santa, and Santa’s house where you can take a photo with him. They also have a hot chocolate stand.
Please note that the event is outdoors at night so make sure to dress warm and the walking paths are made up of wood chips so it might be difficult to push a wheelchair or stroller.
Tickets to the Village at Anne Ellen Christmas Tree Farm is $22 for adults and $12 for children.
