June is the start of the New Jersey lavender season and visiting a lavender farm makes the perfect start to summer. Lavender is very therapeutic and has many health benefits. It calms the nervous system and helps with mood and anxiety. It’s the perfect summer activity. It’s so relaxing wandering through lavender gardens and enjoying the aromatic scent. New Jersey is filled with many lavender farms throughout the state. Here are a list of beautiful lavender farms in New Jersey that you can visit this upcoming season.

Happy Day Farm
Happy Day Farm is located in Manalapan, New Jersey. The address is 106 Iron Ore Road. They have parking right next to the farm. They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 8am to 3pm. Tickets are $12 per person and children 1 and under are free. They only accept cash.
It’s such a cute farm! They grow two different varieties of lavender, Phenomenal and Hidcode. Both of them smell amazing and look beautiful. I also loved that the gardens have a bunch of cute photo ops throughout the fields.
They also have fresh squeezed lemonade and shaved ices available to purchase. On their farm, you can feed goats and chickens. In the summer, they have raspberry/blueberry picking and sunflower fields. In the fall, they have pumpkin picking and a corn maze.
Hidden Spring Lavender Farm
Hidden Spring Lavender is a 25 acre family-owned farm in Skillman, NJ. The address is 890 Route 601. They have a gift shop with a wide range of all natural products made with 100% pure lavender essential oil and lavender grown right on their farm. Some of their products are lotions, hand soap, bath and body items, pillows, essential oils, wreaths, gift baskets, and much more! They even have Buena Bears, which are stuffed teddy bears with lavender – how cute is that! Be sure to also check out their alpacas!
From April to November, the farm is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. There are no reservations needed to visit the farm and no fee, unless there is a special event.
Mad Lavender Farm
Mad Lavender is a fun whimsical 10 acre farm located in Milford, NJ. The address is 452 County Road 579. They have seven different varieties of lavender, a lavender labyrinth, and a line of lavender products. All of their products are made by hand on the farm. You can find everything from candles to lip balms. They are open Friday through Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
The farm offers different workshops and events that you can sign up for. Some of their workshops are Oil Distillation and Herbal Infusion. They also have goat yoga classes!
Orchard View Lavender Farm
Orchard View Lavender Farm is located in Port Murray, NJ. Their address is 101 Karrsville Road. They are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm in May-December. They offer fresh and dry lavender and a variety of natural handmade artisan lavender products including bath & body, household, culinary, teas, essential oil, and pure honey harvested from the hives on the farm. They also have lavender ice cream and lavender baked goods. Visitors are invited to pack a picnic basket, bring a blanket and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the farm.
Pleasant Valley Lavender
Pleasant Valley is located in Morganville, NJ. Their address is 288 Pleasant Valley Road. Their 10 acre farm has nearly 2000 lavender plants – a variety of French and English lavender. Throughout the spring and summer, the public is invited to explore the fields and cut their own lavender bundles. They also have a selection of handmade lavender goods like bath and body products, chocolates, sachets, and even lavender honey. U-Pick access is free for visitors – pay only for what you pick. Small bouquets are $7 and large ones are $12. They are open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Princeton Lavender
This lavender farm is located in Princeton, NJ. The address is 3741 Lawrenceville Road. The entrance fee to visit the farm is $5. They are open daily from 10am to 2pm. They grow and sell four different types of lavender. They offer farm stand products like fresh lavender bundles, lavender relaxation pillows, lavender beeswax skin cream, honey, and dried lavender. They also have lavender lemonade!
