New Hope, Pennsylvania is a cute little town that is right on the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. If you are local to the area, it makes a perfect day or weekend trip! In this post, I am going to share the best things to do on a day trip in New Hope, PA.
Things to Do
Shopping on Main Street
Main Street is filled with cute boutiques, antique shops, art galleries, and flea markets.
Walk Across the State Line between Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Stand in two states at once by crossing the bridge between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. On the New Jersey side, there is the town of Lambertville which is also filled with a bunch of shops and restaurants.
Go Wine Tasting
Bucks County Playhouse
Check out their schedule to see classic plays and fun musicals. You can find their website here!
Peddler’s Village is an old-fashioned “village” that has seasonal events and festivals. It is the cutest during the holidays. Check out their schedule of events here!
Places to Eat
Carl and I ate here for lunch and we absolutely loved it! We tried the wine and whiskey flights and had a bunch of their tapas. Our favorites were the scallops in thai curry sauce, tuna tacos, and truffle ravioli. So yummy!
This is a food market filled with a bunch of different vendors. This makes a great lunch spot! They also have coffee and dessert. I highly recommend the hot chocolate and chocolates from Sciascia Confections.
This is a cool popcorn shop that has both savory and sweet popcorn flavors. My favorite was their Buffalo Blue and Cookie Explosion.
I hope you enjoyed my post on the best things to do in New Hope PA!
