When is apple picking season in NJ?

The apple season in New Jersey starts in late August and goes through October. The peak picking time is usually September 1st through October 15th. The weather patterns can sometimes cause a delay so I recommend going apple picking in September to get the best and most ripened apples.
Also, before going apple picking, make sure to always check the farm’s website for any updates and picking availability.
If you are looking to see where to go apple picking, I have listed the best apple orchards in New Jersey that are located throughout North, Central, and South Jersey.
