There was a winter wonderland in New Jersey this week! I am usually not the biggest fan of snow and being cold, but it was so nice being snowed in and spending time with the family.
This weather is perfect for my new Columbia coat and Sorel Joan of Arctic Duck Boots. I am obsessed with my coat. I bought this coat from the Columbia outlet store at Woodbury Commons in Upstate New York. I bought it for under $100! It was such a good deal. This coat is called the Rural Mountain Interchange Jacket (similar!). It was one of the warmest coats they had so I knew I had to get it, especially since I’m always cold and traveling to Iceland next month. The special thing about this coat is that it is Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective. This means that it keeps you warm by reflecting the heat your body generates, while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. It also has a lining attached inside that gives you an additional layer of warmth. It can also be removed and worn separately. I wore this coat every day this week and it really does keep you warm! I love it so much, especially the color since it is different from the coat colors I usually wear.
I paired this coat with my lace-up Sorel Joan of Arctic Duck Boots that I bought from DSW. I was in desperate need of new snow boots and I’m so glad I found these. They are so soft and cozy on the inside and I love that the boots have a fur lining, giving it a stylish look.
These two items make the perfect outfit for winter outdoor adventures!
