How to Style a Turtleneck Sweater (1 of 2)

One of the coziest trends is wearing a turtleneck sweater. This sweater makes it possible to stay warm and chic at the same time. Turtleneck sweaters keep your neck warm and make it the perfect top to wear when it is freezing outside. This week I want to share with you guys how to style a turtleneck sweater in two different ways.

The first way I styled this sweater is with high-waisted jeans and wedge booties. Similar to how I styled this over-sized sweater, I lightly tucked the sweater in the front. I like to tuck in over-sized sweaters so I can show a hint of my figure. Jeans usually fit long on me and bunch up on the bottom (#shortgirlproblems) so I like to roll them up and show a little bit of my ankles. I also rolled up my sleeves for a more casual look. I wore wedge booties to add a feminine piece to this outfit.

This chunky turtleneck sweater is from Urban Outfitters. It is $69 and comes in three different colors: ivory, yellow/blue, and black. It is so warm and cozy! This sweater is linked below. I also linked two other turtleneck sweaters from Urban Outfitters – a cute ribbed turtleneck top and a colorblocked turtleneck tunic top. These two are both $49 and linked below. My gray high-waisted jeans are from Garage. I love their jeans. They are so stretchy and comfortable. I linked similar ones that are all under $60. These wedge booties are from Forever 21. I bought them a few years ago and they are still in good condition! I linked three similar wedge booties below. One of them is from Guess for $79 and the other two are from Charlotte Russe and TJ Maxx that are under $30.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! On Thursday, I will be posting a second way to style a turtleneck sweater. Stay tuned!
