Mini Moon in Turks & Caicos

Mini Moon in Turks & Caicos

Even though our original honeymoon to Southeast Asia had to get postponed due to Covid-19, Carl and I still wanted to travel after our wedding. We researched countries that were allowing US citizens to travel to and got excited when we saw that we can travel to Turks & Caicos! It was the perfect destination to unwind, relax, and celebrate after becoming husband and wife! In this post, I am sharing all the details of our mini moon in Turks & Caicos.

Hotel

The hotel we stayed at was the Grace Bay Club and it was amazing! It was honestly the best hotel I ever stayed at. The resort was beautiful and the staff was incredible and super friendly. They were so genuine and kind and on our last day, I wanted to say goodbye to everyone to thank them for making our stay amazing!

The Grace Bay Club has two sections where you can stay: Villas Suites and the Estates. If you stay in the Estates section, you have access to the entire resort, including your own pool and an additional restaurant. We booked the Estate Junior Residence Suite. The room was amazing and it had such an amazing view of the pool and beach.

Things to Do

Usually when I go on vacation, I have a detailed plan of all the sights to see and activities to do, but after the stress of wedding planning and the craziness of the pandemic – it felt so nice to have a relaxation vacation with no plans at all.

The hotel does offer different tours and full-day excursions, but we decided not to book anything. We did use the hotel’s complimentary kayaks and paddle boards which were a lot of fun! We also took a yoga class one morning right by the pool. One of the days, we decided to go parasailing since Carl has never been and we had such a great time!

Other than those activities, most of our days were just spent relaxing. Carl and I would sleep in, go to breakfast, and relax by the beach in the morning. The white sands and beautiful turquoise water are beautiful! Then, we would grab lunch at the hotel and relax at the pool before getting ready for dinner.

We had such an incredible time and didn’t want the week to end!

Places to Eat

Just Tacos

Grace Bay Club had this taco pop up restaurant and bar right on the beach and they were so good!

Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar

This is Grace Bay Club’s oceanfront restaurant that has amazing sunset views and makes the perfect dinner spot! We ate dinner here a couple of times.

Krave

This is Grace Bay Club’s restaurant that is only exclusive at The Estate. We came here for lunch and I was obsessed with their shrimp curry noodles – yum!

Sui-Ren

This is a fine dining restaurant with a beautiful ambiance located at The Shore Club. They serve sushi and Asian inspired dishes.

Seven

This restaurant is located in the Seven Stars Resort and makes the perfect dinner spot. They have fresh local seafood and an array of international flavors.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post on our mini moon in Turks & Caicos. Carl and I had such an incredible time and we didn’t want this week to end!
