Even though it is starting to feel like summer, you don’t need to put away all of your sweaters. You can still get good use out of your sweaters in the warmer seasons. I’m the type of person who is always cold so anytime I’m indoors where the AC is cranked up or hanging out outside during those cool summer nights I find myself searching for a sweater. So I think it’s a good idea to keep a few sweaters around with your summer wardrobe. I’d like to show you guys in this post how to style a sweater in the spring and summer.
The sweaters I like to keep around are ones that are lightweight. I also like to keep ones that are a neutral or summer color. I love wearing bright and fun colored sweaters in the spring and summer.
There are multiple ways you can style a sweater in the spring and summer. You can style a lightweight cardigan with a dress or a top and jeans. You can throw on a sweater with shorts or over a dress and skirt.
I styled this cropped off the shoulder sweater with high-waisted shorts. This orange color screams summer and I thought it would go perfect with white shorts. I wanted to add another pop of color so I paired it with my hot pink block heel booties. I love the combination of neon orange and hot pink. It’s such a bright and fun summer combo.
This entire outfit is from Forever 21. The orange sweater is $18, the white shorts are $18, and the pink block heels are just under $25. This entire outfit is under $100 and these are pieces that can be styled separately in so many different ways.
