I always get asked why I wanted to start a fashion blog so I decided it was time to write a post about why I started blogging. Fashion has always been an interest and passion of mine. I remember when I was younger, I loved going to Limited Too (anyone remember that store?!) and picking out a bunch of clothes to try on. Creating different outfits from the clothes I have is so much fun for me. I’m obsessed with shopping and I love discovering the new fashion trends.
Before Instagram, I was obsessed with Tumblr and I loved getting inspiration from different fashion accounts. That’s when I started taking photos of myself in different outfits that I put together. When Instagram finally came around, I discovered fashion bloggers like Jean Wang and Caitlin Covington and I remember thinking to myself that I wanted to create a blog like theirs. I started posting pictures of outfits on my personal Instagram. Here are some of the pictures I used to post that started my love of sharing outfit inspiration to others (FYI the quality of these photos aren’t that great!).
Then, one day I was talking to my boyfriend about how I wanted to start a fashion blog and he encouraged me to start one and offered his help in creating one for me. And that’s how Everything Dee got started. My blog is a creative outlet for me and has become a hobby that I really enjoy.
I love to share outfit ideas and fashion inspiration for others. I want to show that you don’t need to shop designer brands or spend a lot to look your best. I’m all about finding outfits that are cute, trendy, comfortable, easy to put together, and super affordable. I want girls to find confidence in their own skin and embrace their personal style.
I hope you guys continue to follow along 🙂
The floral romper I’m wearing is from Charlotte Russe. I love the cold shoulder and chic v-neckline detail. The keyhole opening in the back also adds a nice flirty touch to the romper. To add some more color, I paired this romper with my Forever 21 hot pink heels and blue tassel earrings.
