Fall Weekend: Hiking and Apple Picking

This weekend was filled with fun fall activities. I went hiking with Carl to see fall foliage in upstate New York and we went apple picking with my parents.

We went hiking at Minnewaska State Park and went through the Gertrude’s Nose trail. It was about a six mile hike that took us about 3 hours. The views were incredible and I loved seeing the fall foliage.

On Sunday, Carl and I went with my parents to Battleview Orchards in Freehold, New Jersey for apple picking. We love going apple picking every year. We got a bunch of apples and went to their store to get fresh apple cider donuts and apple cider. They were sooooo good! The cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts are my favorite! We also came home and baked an apple pie with some of the apples we picked.
