My belief on fashion is that you should never stick to the same style all the time. People should experiment with trying new styles and different looks. When I’m shopping, I’ll look at an item and think to myself “Hmm..that looks interesting…let me see how it looks on me.” Sometimes I end up not liking it and other times I love the way it looks. And that is how I feel about this tulle skirt.
When I first thought about tulle skirts, I immediately go back to my days as a three year old, when I attempted to be a ballerina. I never thought I could pull it off as an adult…until now. I came across this skirt online, on a website that I recently discovered called Shop Stevie. I saw this cute blush tulle skirt and there was something about it that made me want to buy it. I have never been a fan of the midi skirt length before, since I feel like it makes my legs look shorter than they already are. As this would be my first time wearing tulle, I thought, “Hey, why not!” and decided to give it a try. When it finally arrived at my house and I tried it on for the first time, I immediately fell in love with it!
Tulle can be styled in so many different ways. You can wear it casually with a cropped sweater or button down shirt. You can also make it edgy by pairing it with a graphic tee and leather jacket. I wanted to dress it up so I wore mine with a white lace cropped top to go for a more elegant look and added a statement necklace to dazzle it up. I love how pink and white go great together – I felt like such a princess! To complete the dressy look, I paired it with my nude heels.
With lots of love,
