Apple & Pumpkin Picking

Pumpkin and apple picking are some of my favorite activities to do during the fall. Now is the perfect time since the weather just started getting cooler (Yay! Sweater Weather!). My parents and my boyfriend, Carl, took a trip to Central New Jersey to Battleview Orchards this weekend. It is a family owned fruit farm in Freehold, where they grow strawberries, cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples, and pumpkins. For the fall, you can pick your own apples and pumpkins and even peaches if you go in late August.

We took a hayride around the orchard and then we each got a bag to fill it with yummy red and green apples. Afterwards, we went through the pumpkin patch and chose our pumpkins. And of course we had to end our trip by eating warm apple cider donuts and fresh apple cider. Yummmm! We even bought a homemade apple pie that I’m currently eating right now with vanilla ice cream as I write this blog post haha! I’m excited to bake apple desserts with the ones I picked and paint funny faces on our pumpkins for Halloween decorations.

For my outfit, I wore my comfy striped sweater and two-toned jeans that I bought from Charlotte Russe and paired them with my Sam Edelman suede booties.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

With lots of love,

Dee
